Job Description:

The Service Station is a new restaurant concept in Old Louisville, offering a dynamic, late-night spot for locals, students, service industry workers, and more. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic servers to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system

• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met

• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and special requests

• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and signature drinks

• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth service

• Handle guest complaints or issues with a positive attitude and find solutions

• Keep the dining area clean, organized, and properly set

• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a server is a plus but not required; we’re willing to train the right candidates

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume shifts with grace under pressure

• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for serving alcohol)

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts is essential

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
