Summary:
Support, govern, and manage the company’s data assets throughout their lifecycle leveraging data literacy, people, policies, and technologies to meet business imperatives through the delivery of innovative business solutions that connect with both customers and suppliers. The role will define and execute overall master data management solutions while ensuring that data is owned by the appropriate teams and edits or creation of data are done by those with the proper authority and used effectively to drive strategic business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Data Quality & Integration: Implementing data quality standards and processes to monitor and maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Overseeing data integration efforts to enable seamless data flow between systems and ensure that data is accessible for analysis and reporting. Coordinating data cleansing and validation initiatives to reduce errors and improve the reliability of data.
- Data Management Processes & Standards: Work with the data management team and organization to develop MDM data standards (data dictionaries, data quality, data cleansing, data privacy, data security etc.) Own the build of MDM processes for identified master data domains. Communicate MDM data standards and MDM processes to business and IT teams within and enforce its operationalization to maintain integrity and compliance.
- Team Leadership and Cross Functional Collaboration: Leading and mentoring a team of data professionals, including data analysts and other specialists as decided is needed by Building partnerships with departments like IT, finance, sales, and marketing to understand their data needs and priorities. Driving cross-functional projects to ensure cohesive data management practices and optimize data value organization-wide.
- Data Governance: Establishing and enforcing data governance policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance. Ensuring data management practices comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Data Analytics & BI Enablement: Supporting data analytics and business intelligence (BI) teams by providing them with reliable, high-quality data. Collaborating with stakeholders to identify key data needs and enabling access to data for decision-making. Promoting data-driven culture across departments and helping teams leverage data insights to achieve business goals
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelors in a relevant field (e.g. Data Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
- 7 years of experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles within data management, data engineering, or analytics
- Familiarity with relevant data privacy and compliance regulations to ensure that data practices align with legal requirements.
- Ability to design and optimize scalable, high-performance data solutions to meet the organization’s evolving needs.
- Experience with data quality frameworks, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices, including data stewardship, data ownership, and data lineage.
- Ability to establish and maintain processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms.
- Ability to develop and communicate a data strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals.
- Experience in building business cases for data initiatives and presenting them to executive leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address data challenges (e.g., data silos, integration issues, data quality concerns) and implement effective solutions.
- Skills in identifying process improvements to enhance data efficiency, accessibility, and utility.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable way.
- Strong presentation skills to explain the value of data initiatives and gain executive buy-in.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and understanding their data requirements.

Salary : $175,000 - $185,000
