Job Description
Salary: $21.50 - $26.00 per Hour
Summary
The Donor Services Coordinator is an integral part of the development team and provides outstanding stewardship to donors and volunteers. The position manages and maintains accurate donor information in the donor database. They support all fundraising efforts including annual giving, special events, corporate sponsorships and grants.
Roles And Responsibilities
Maintains the internal database of all prospects and current donors ensuring accurate up to date donor information and interactions are recorded in a timely manner
Works with the Accounting Director to reconcile financials for accurate financial recording
Prepares reports such as the monthly financials, donor gifts, gift & memorials and mailing lists
Ensures the timely processing of all donor acknowledgements
Maintains a strong working relationship with The Settlement Club and assists with administrative duties as requested
Supports the logistics of campus tours
Assists with special events such as the Garage & Estate Sale and Giving for Living Serves as the primary contact for general development inquiries and routes inquiries to appropriate parties Coordinates donor mailings by preparing lists, performing mail merges and preparing bulk mailings
Stewards existing and prospective donors with a positive, helpful and friendly attitude
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of events, nonprofit, development, volunteer management or related experience
Must meet personnel requirements as outlined by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Minimum Standards for General Residency Operations
Have a valid driver's license, less than 2 moving violations and/or 1 accident within the past 3 years
Must have and maintain current auto liability insurance
Preferred Qualifications And Education Requirements
Experience with databases, fundraising and donor customer service
Essential Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. Must be able to lift and/or exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Position frequently involves walking, standing, sitting, stooping, lifting, speaking and repetitive motion. Position may occasionally involve reaching, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Must have close visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) so as to prepare and analyze data and figures; perform extensive reading and transcription; operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to hear so as to receive detailed information through oral communication and receive information through electronic, telephone, and/or radio frequency.
