About the Role:
The Seville Banquet is seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Host/Hostess to provide exceptional service and oversee the smooth execution of events. If you are passionate about hospitality, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years as a Banquet Host/Hostess or in a similar role.
- Strong background in the food and beverage industry with banquet or hospitality experience.
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Punctual and reliable, demonstrating commitment to schedules and event timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage banquet setup and event execution to ensure a flawless experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Coordinate event details, including floor plans, room setup (tables, linens, centerpieces, AV, lighting, etc.), and food service.
- Collaborate with dining, kitchen, setup, and bar teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, daily features, and event space layouts.
- Address and resolve any guest or staff concerns promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Anticipate guest needs and foster positive relationships with clients, team members, and partners.
