Prep Cook - Press Cafe:
Press Cafe at Ford Lincoln is searching for an energetic & experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and be passionate about working with food & people! This role will be working alongside our lead chef & front of house team to assist in providing the best dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities include prepping food, aiding the lead chef and team in completing meals, managing the line in busy meal rush times, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment in our kitchen.
Schedule: Monday - Saturday
Various shifts available between 6:00 am - 9:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & make menu recipes
- Be detailed in prepping food matching recipe requirements
- Assist kitchen team in ensuring great presentation of orders
- Demonstrate proper knife skills and kitchen safety
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Wash dishes / equipment as needed
- Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
- Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and able to multitask
- Food handler certified
- TABC certified is a plus
- Work weekends/evenings
- High school diploma or GED
- Background and drug screening
