Job Title: Receptionist
Reports To: HR
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for answering incoming phone calls and properly expediting them to the intended party or voice mail. Greets any customers or visitors and directs them to the proper individual. Other responsibilities may include various record keeping duties for different departments and handling various clerical assignments such typing, copying, faxing, or assembling mass mailings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Answers incoming calls using a multi-line switchboard
· Sorts and distributes mail daily
· Orders business cards
· Keeps track of who is in/out of the office
· Maintains and updates network directory using Microsoft Outlook
· Maintains and updates phone numbers
· Orders office supplies as needed
· Maintains appropriate supply of office snacks, coffee, tea, cups, etc.
· Orders lunches or meals for meetings, guests, etc.
· Assists various departments with small projects
· Runs various weekly & monthly reports
· Performs other duties as needed
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer literacy. Ability to multi-task is essential. Must be self-starter and have the ability to organize and prioritize work.
· Two years of related experience
· High School Diploma
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Dependable
