Description The Schultz Campus for Jewish Life is gearing up for Summer Camp 2025!
We are looking for Camp Counselors. We welcome candidates of all religious faiths to apply. Our summer camp is ten (10) weeks from June 9th-August 15th for kids ages 6 to 14 years.
The Camp Counselor will be primarily responsible for the carrying out programs of a camp group. The counselor is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of each camper and creating a memorable experience. The counselor will utilize the programs and facilities as tools to help campers grow and develop. We do offer flexibility with pre-scheduled vacations.

Education/Experience:

Other Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Assist with drop-off and pick-up of campers daily.
- Facilitate programs and assist and encourage campers to participate in camp activities.
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with campers, peers, and leadership.
- Supervise and participate in Specialty Camps run by specialists.
- Adapt programs to meet individual campers’ interests and needs.
- Listen actively to campers, address each camper by name.
- Be continually aware of physical and emotional needs of campers and meet them appropriately.
- Use age and developmental-appropriate interventions with emphasis on being proactive
- Bring a creative, positive and consistent approach with all campers
Education/Experience:
- High school graduate
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Life/work-experience with school age children is required.
- Must be able to make appropriate decisions regarding childcare and programs.
- First Aid/CPR Certifications preferred.
