What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Supervisor position at The Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort?
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is currently looking for a Dining Room Supervisor to join our dedicated team! The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the F&B operations, while maintaining high quality products and service levels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the hotel’s Restaurant
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Work with other managers and keep them informed of F&B issues as they arise.
- Ensure preparation of required reports
- Monitor quality of service in F&B outlets.
- Assist in menu planning and preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure compliance with SOP’s in restaurant.
- Be visible on the floor and assist staff as needed during each meal period.
- Conduct staff performance reviews in accordance with Hotel standards.
- Comply with weekly and monthly forecasting procedures.
- Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions and follow standards for hiring approvals.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Attend staff meetings, morning meetings and other meetings as requested.

- A combination of education and progressive professional experience totaling 5 years
- F&B preparation techniques
- Health department rules and regulations
- Liquor laws and regulations
- Knowledge of POS Systems
Job Type: Full Time during busy season (May-October) with reduced hours during the off season.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
