Our salaried managers: work 5 days per week amongst a team of managers and supervisors, out on the floor side by side with our dedicated staff. Experience required.

Our hourly supervisors: support the management team by opening or closing the restaurant and working expo. Our supervisors are our future managers/general managers and we are searching for individuals who desire rapid career growth in the restaurant industry.

• Have 2 years experience working in a fast paced, high volume restaurant (as management for AGM / GM positions)
• Have natural leadership skills and a genuine care for others
• Can maintain a positive vibe when in the restaurant
• Are able to grow and maintain a healthy, happy and motivated FOH team
• Are self-disciplined and a great multi-tasker
• Have a keen eye for detail in every area of the restaurant (FOH & BOH)
• Understand and are comfortable with POS and computer systems (TOAST a huge plus!)
• Are humble and willing to learn
• A keen eye for detail.
• Are able to work at all 4 of our locations on Long Island (should it be needed).

Roles & Responsibilities of our Leaders:

• Establish genuine guest relations, ensure guest satisfaction and make people feel special.
• Care for our team as a family and lead by example. Identify and develop future leaders.
• Respond to any possible guest issue in-person or online (though rare) in a genuine and timely manner to ensure all guests leave happy.
• Manage and fully understand the backend of our POS system (TOAST) with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with help of IT phone support (involves both stationary & handheld units). We provide training but a comfort level with technology is required.
• Ensure the profitability of The Shed restaurant operations by operating within cost of goods and labor productivity guidelines while providing exceptional service.
• Ensure that all daily/weekly restaurant paperwork is completed accurately and on a timely basis.
• Upkeep of proper FOH inventory and ordering (including marketing items).
• Executing and delegating upkeep of restaurant grounds inside and out. A keen eye for detail is required.
