Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring smooth operations behind the bar. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food and beverage industry and are eager to learn and grow within the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock and replenish supplies, such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, to ensure bartenders have what they need at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, such as Aloha POS.
• Buss tables and assist with food handling as needed to support overall service quality.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patrons and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent service are essential traits for success in this role.
