We are seeking highly motivated students in good academic standing from an accredited university or college to join our R&D Lab teams this summer. As an intern, you will play an integral role in real-world research and development, contributing to the development of innovative chemical solutions.
Internship Overview:
- Duration: 10–12 weeks (May–August)
- Schedule: Full-time (start and end dates flexible based on school schedules)
- Location: On-site laboratory environment
- Collaboration: Work alongside experienced chemists, engineers, and industry professionals to drive projects and innovation forward
- Final Presentation: At the end of your internship, you will have the opportunity to showcase your learnings and contributions through a formal presentation to company leadership and fellow interns
What You’ll Do:
You will gain hands-on experience with various analytical techniques, laboratory procedures, and R&D processes, including:
Analytical Testing & Lab Work:
Perform a variety of chemical analyses, such as:
- EDTA titrations
- Acid-base titrations
- Wastewater analysis
- Trace metal analysis
- Additional required tests
Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records
Communicate analytical results to production teams and management
Calibrate and maintain lab instruments (e.g., pH meters, balances)
Laboratory Operations & Safety:
Properly label, store, and retain samples
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
Prepare test solutions and reagents
Properly dispose of chemicals and laboratory waste
Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies
Research & Development (R&D):
Work alongside chemists and engineers to:
- Develop and optimize chemical processes for efficiency and profitability
- Discover and refine aqueous inorganic chemical reactions
- Synthesize and characterize metal carboxylates
- Participate in scaling up products from the lab to the pilot plant and commercial production
Conduct instrumental analysis and reaction procedures safely
What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
✔️ Currently enrolled as a student in good standing at an accredited university or college (transcript required)
✔️ Completed at least one semester of organic chemistry with a B average or higher
✔️ U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
✔️ Prior research or laboratory experience preferred
✔️ Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team setting
✔️ Excellent communication skills – ability to read, write, and articulate findings fluently in English
