What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Substitute position at The Sherman School?
Located in an idyllic setting in the northernmost corner of Fairfield County, Connecticut, The Sherman School is a small, PK-8 school with approximately 250 students and 80 dedicated faculty and staff members. We offer small class sizes, and wonderful resources to support our programs.
Title: Building Substitute - through June 2025
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Required. Connecticut Teaching Certification Preferred. Love of children; interest in helping children learn; flexibility; ability to follow directions carefully; desire to work with people; an organized approach to tasks; positive and respectful regard for public education; promptness; high personal standards and a desire to perform work of high quality; good work attendance record; ability to maintain confidentiality.
Reports to: Building Administration
Hours
- 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
- Five days per week
Compensation and Benefits
- $120 per day
- No benefits
