As a participant in the CTS Driver Training Program for the Sherwin-Williams private fleet, you are responsible for safe, on-time trailer pick-up and deliveries to distribution centers, manufacturing plants as well as some external customers. Driver trainees may also assist with store deliveries when accompanied by a driver trainer, and are required to maintain DOT trip logs, conduct vehicle inspections, and comply with all DOT regulations. Driver trainees will be evaluated on a regular basis throughout this 12-month training program to determine their readiness to deliver to Sherwin-Williams stores and become a graduate of the Driver Training Program. We proudly offer:
$0.528 cent permile (including $.09cpm per diem)
average of 2200 - 2500 miles per week
home daily; primarily day driving
driving Volvo automatics with premium seats
primarily pulling 48' trailers
forward facing cameras; drivers are slip-seating
You will also have the opportunity to take advantage of a robust benefits package, which includes:

Medical, dental and vision insurance- starting 1st of month following date of hire

Sherwin-Williams driver job requirements include:
Must be at least 25 years of age
Must have the legal right to work in this country
Must have worked for Sherwin-Williams for a minimum of 5 years
Must be willing to obtain a Hazardous Materials & Tanker Endorsement upon receiving your CDL
Other Qualifications:
Safe driving record as demonstrated on motor vehicle record report
The successful candidate must be able to obtain a CDL learner's permit and pass a DOT physical and background check
