ABOUT THE ROLE:
- The Senior Mobile Developer role is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining applications for proprietary/licensable mobile devices and platforms. The role requires collaboration with product managers and project managers to determine the application requirements. The incumbent must possess attention to detail, strong expertise in integrated development platforms, and proficiency in programming languages relevant to mobile development to create and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS, Android, and other mobile platforms. Ultimately, the role will specialize in software applications development for proprietary/licensable mobile devices and platforms.
WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
- Collaborate with analysts, product managers, developers and project managers to determine the requirements and specifications for custom mobile applications
- Plan, design, develop, and test the mobile infrastructure that will support the application including the flow of data and users
- Plan, design, develop and test mobile applications for Android, iOS and other mobile platforms
- Design and code mobile applications using knowledge of mobile platforms, cross-platform development tools, and leveraging available APIs where appropriate
- Ensure mobile application security by managing mobile data management
- Provide support for released applications by fixing bugs and upgrading to new versions
This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.
This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

Education
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or in lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in mobile application development or software development
- Preferred
- Xamarin Certified Developer
Skills and Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in mobile development
- Experience with integrated development platforms (Xamarin, Kony, Appcelerator, EMM/MDM, iOS SDK, Android SDK, etc.)
- Knowledge of mobile security and mobile development best practices
- Experience with mobile data management
Preferred
- Proven experience with Android native development platform (Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, Javascript, Android Studio, Homebrew, CocoaPods) as well as standard SDLC practices and tools (standups, ceremonials, lifecycle, JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience functioning in a senior developer role serving as a team lead/mentor for junior team members
