What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Marketing - Independent Contractor position at The Shift Network?
This is a contract position. You must be an established Independent Contractor to be considered. This Independent Contractor opportunity is for up to 175 hours per month dependent upon course volume. You must be available to work hours matched to Pacific times, typically somewhere between 9am-5pm, Mon.-Fri. This contract opportunity will pay $25-35 per hour dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Video editing and production (Proficiency in Adobe Premier) Adobe After Effects & Photoshop a plus
- Knowledge and basic familiarity with Video/Audio Codec’s and Formats and Graphics (.PSD, .PNG & .JPEG) formats
- Motion Graphics (MOGRT’s), Audio Restoration (Adobe Audition, Izotrope), Key framing, Timecode Syncing
- Zoom Platform, Audio/Video Settings, Troubleshooting
- Asset management and management of production timelines/workflows
- Create corporate & Market-ready assets, Branding
Familiarity/knowledge of some Ai Tools (i.e. Sora, Runway, Deep Brain Veo2), Prompt Engineering, would be a plus - Google Docs, Slack, Asana, Airtable, Excel experience a plus
- Ability to work well in a cross team collaborative environment
- Other services that may be reasonably requested
Qualifications and Characteristics Desired:
- 2 years video editing and production experience
- Competence and confidence with technology platforms listed above
- Knowledge of transformational content and online learning with focus on leading teachers, schools of thought, and market trends
- 1-2 years remote office experience, preferred
