Global Audit & Assurance (“GA&A”) is an organization within Johnson & Johnson Global Finance, a global team with an Enterprise focus including Risk-Based Reviews, Sarbanes Oxley, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Compliance Reviews, Sensitive Investigations, and Digital Innovation and Analytics. GA&A’s Vision is to become a best-in-class audit organization delivering data driven, risk-based audit and assurance projects, that develops talent and drives Johnson & Johnson compliance.
The Office of Strategy & Operations (“OSO”) is a team within GA&A that supports the entire organization by driving operational excellence and efficiency as well as advancing capabilities through strategic initiatives. The team’s focus is on leadership reporting, optimizing baseline operations, talent management & development, and shaping and operationalizing transformational initiatives to support GA&A’s vision of becoming a best-in-class audit organization.
The Junior Analyst, Office of Strategy & Operations is responsible for supporting operational excellence and efficiency and special projects.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Operations: Supporting key activities that are instrumental to the GA&A baseline operating model. Activities may include (but not limited to) supporting GA&A LIFT rotation program management, employee engagement and team building, COSO Framework Testing, and other hoc tasks.
- Special Projects: Collaborating with cross-regional teams to help deliver key projects that drive operational excellence and support GA&A’s Vision of becoming a best-in-class audit organization. The primary focus of these initiatives is assessing ways to further advance Process and Technology; relative to areas such as leadership reporting, data governance & readiness, GA&A interaction model & stakeholder engagement, metrics, digitization, and data analytics.
- Professional Development: Growing knowledge of Johnson & Johnson and becoming familiar with baseline aspects of GA&A operations. Key activities include valuable e-learning as made available through department resources, networking with others, and attending J&J sponsored events.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Foster internal partnerships of individuals, teams, and stakeholders across Global Audit & Assurance including Finance, IT, Compliance, and Digital Innovation & Analytics; establishing and developing core skills like business acumen, teamwork, time management, workplace presence, and communication.
- Collaborate and encourage alignment across the Global Audit & Assurance department stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of best practices, process and technology improvements, and benchmarking initiatives to advance operational excellence.
- Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo and leads and adapts to change while managing ambiguity.
- Gain visibility and exposure to senior leadership, sharing insights and progress on key projects.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent degree is required.
- Completion of all requirements as defined by the Shine Collective including a 2 Week Core Skills Learning Curriculum.
