We are seeking an energetic, nurturing, person, who has experience working with babies.
Hours:2pm - 6pm, Monday through Friday.
We will begin correspondence by email; please monitor your email.
We do not have openings for staff children at this time.
Duties
- Caring for babies' basic needs, such as diapering, feeding, etc.
- Interacting with babies with developmentally appropriate activities and play.
- Recording babies' daily actions.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, nursery.
- Communicating with staff and families.
- Playing with babies and enjoying your job!
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 yrs.
- Proof of High School completion
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with babies.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain through provided training.
- Requirements include the ability to use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Excellent organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Provide verifiable references.
