Charlotte, NC | Part-Time | $18/hr Performance Bonuses
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM

We are currently hiring a Special Projects Assistant to support three of our active business lines. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys working across multiple departments to support operations, coordination, and growth.
About the Role
This position supports the executive team and project leads across three separate brands under The Ship Group umbrella. You’ll assist with administrative coordination, project tracking, internal communication, client support, and special initiatives. Every day will look different—and you’ll need to stay ahead of tasks, juggle competing priorities, and deliver results without constant supervision.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone who can jump in, figure things out quickly, and help keep our growing companies moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with internal projects, scheduling, task tracking, and communications.
  • Support client and team onboarding processes.
  • Monitor inboxes and respond to time-sensitive tasks or inquiries.
  • Keep records, digital files, and trackers up-to-date across departments.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Support document preparation, reports, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all assignments.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • 2 years of administrative, coordination, or executive support experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience managing tasks across multiple departments or projects.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive) and CRM tools.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt and take initiative.
  • Professional, reliable, and accountable.

Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience in sales coordination, onboarding, or tech platform support
  • Familiarity with small business operations, project tracking, or customer engagement.
  • Experience supporting leadership or executive teams.
