About Us:
Resolute Charlotte is dedicated to empowering individuals transitioning from incarceration, homelessness, and behavioral health challenges. In partnership with TSG Behavioral Health & Community Services, we are expanding our team to include 1915 Community Support Services to ensure Medicaid-compliant and effective service delivery.
Role Overview:
The Housing Stability Specialist provides Community Transition and Individual Support services to assist individuals in securing and maintaining stable housing. This role involves housing case management, financial coaching, and advocacy to ensure clients successfully transition to long-term housing stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Community Transition and Individual Support services to help individuals secure and maintain stable housing.
- Assist clients with rental applications, securing deposits, and landlord negotiations.
- Offer financial literacy coaching, focusing on budgeting and sustaining housing stability.
- Collaborate with landlords, housing authorities, and community organizations to expand housing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with service definitions.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in a human services field with one year of post-graduate experience with the population served; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with two years of post-bachelor’s experience with the population served.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in housing case management, reentry services, or supportive housing programs.
- Familiarity with HUD programs, rental assistance, and fair housing laws.
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills to assist clients in securing stable housing.
