Job Title: Personal Care Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities to individuals in need of personal care
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments and other outings as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document and report any changes in the individual's condition or needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes or facilities
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
