Join 2024 James Beard Best Chef Northeast David Standridge in opening his new fast casual seafood spot, Mystic Fish Camp. A modern take on the new england fish fry, Mystic Fish camp will showcase the best of local sustainable seafood, including modern takes on the classics and some creative fish dishes that take seafood in a new direction.
We are looking for a kitchen management team including a restaurant chef and sous chef to work alongside Chef David.
Candidates should have prior kitchen management experience in quality restaurants a passion for the food of the New England coast a desire to create and promote a sustainable and respectful kitchen culture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Chef David on all opening operational systems and menu creation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food service management and high-quality food preparation.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage inventory control and maintain accurate records of food supplies.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
