Auto Body Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for delivering high-quality service. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional workmanship.

Duties

• Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
• Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to apply paint and finish repairs.
• Conduct thorough auto estimating to assess damage and determine repair costs.
• Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
• Execute welding tasks to reinforce structural integrity of vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.

Experience

• Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically in bodywork and painting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques as required for moving parts and equipment.
• Previous experience in customer service is preferred, enhancing client interactions.
• Skills in auto estimating, airless paint spraying, fabrication, welding, and general mechanic duties are highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
