Summary:
To welcome guests in a friendly polite way, seat guest, answer the phone, cleanliness of work area, be a team player.
Duties/Tasks:
Be in proper uniform when on duty.
Ability to work any day required, including holidays.
Greet and talk with all guests as they enter the hotel restaurant.
Escort guests to tables and respond to special requests or complaints.
Act as host - pour and refresh guest beverage as needed.
Monitors or schedules reservations and supervises dining room seating arranges for parties or special events.
Clean and set up meeting room as needed.
Answer restaurant phone.
Assist front desk if needed (deliver valet, help with guest request, etc.)
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines for restaurant.
Perform other duties as assigned.
