Position Overview:
We are seeking a warm, organized, and service-driven Manager to lead our Lodging Operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, guest satisfaction, and team leadership. The Lodging Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front desk, reservations, revenue management and will provide support to the housekeeping department to ensure seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support front desk staff to maintain high service standards.
- Reservations & Booking Management: Oversee the reservation system, ensure accuracy, and optimize room occupancy. Manages our off-site Guest House.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Administrative Duties: Manage daily reports, billing, and reconciliation of front desk transactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Local Expertise: Provide recommendations on local dining, activities, and attractions around Lake Minnetonka.
- Provides oversite to Housekeeping Department supporting out head housekeeping in providing direction and guidance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel management / leadership or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
