Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our team. The Medication Technician will be responsible for assisting residents with medication administration and ensuring their well-being in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
- Follow all protocols and procedures related to medication administration and resident care
Qualifications
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in healthcare settings
- Experience working in group homes, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities is preferred
- Ability to drive systems related to medication administration
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities
- Background in social work or personal care home environments is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
