What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Manager position at The Siegel Group (TSG)?
The Siegel Group, LLC is accepting immediate submissions for a Logistics Management Specialist to assist, the Naval Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) in Norfolk VA. This is a full time position. Monday through Friday, 0700-1630 except for US Federal Holidays. This position requires a Secret Clearance. Candidates with active clearances will be given first consideration.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Assist with, tracking, composing, research, review, and update of NAVSUP FLC Norfolk instructions, forms, notices, and standard operating procedures and functions, and ensuring the completion of monthly reports
- Assist in maintaining the incoming and outgoing of all archive documents for the Business Support Department and keep track of disposition dates by maintaining a logbook or designated platform
- Ensure tasking, informational correspondence and records are scanned, uploaded to the Command tracking system and appropriately distributed
- Ensure a hard-copy or electronic file is maintained by Standard Subject Identification Code (SSIC) and disposed of in accordance with government protocol
- Act as the Command's mail custodian when the primary or secondary custodian is absent
- All other duties as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) associated with this position
Requirements:
- Must clear background investigation
- Must have a minimum of seven (7) years administrative/human resource experience with at least an associate's degree
- Must have a Secret Clearance
- Must be able to perform all functional duties independently
- Shall have proficient oral and written communication skills
- Shall be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 product line, to include SharePoint and Teams
- Be able to conduct quality control efforts to ensure effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Must have the ability to coordinate and communicate with customers with Government Senior leadership
- Have working knowledge of organizational administrative supply and inventory operations
