What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician position at The Siegel Group?
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will perform electrical jobs for all Siegel affiliated properties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform electrical work orders in a timely manner in order to keep tenants and management satisfied and promote long term stay and building improvement.
Perform monthly surveys to maintain a safe environment. Panel covers intact, no exposed wiring, broken outlets, light surveys.
Train property maintenance as needed on basic electrical maintenance.
Accept on-call responsibilities as reported by supervisor in order to assist management with any issues.
Update management on the status of projects and workability
Communicate with management, customers, tenants, and coworkers effectively.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Electrician certification
4 years electrician experience
Knowledge in electrical maintenance, including but not limited to : lighting surveys / installs, breaker panel repair, apartment electrical, restaurant electrical, conduit installation.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English, bi-lingual a plus.
Tools, reliable vehicle.
Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
Sense of urgency and prioritization
Ability to success in a deadline driven environment
