The Signal Group Customer Support & Entry Inside Sales Representative works proactively to support customers, qualify sales opportunities, and interact with other departments to accomplish this work while offering the highest quality of customer service. This role also has responsibility for meeting department and company standards for productivity, product knowledge, resourcefulness, and being solution driven.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a knowledgeable and proactive approach to customer service that ensures a positive consumer experience with The Signal Group.
- Understand and have expertise in our products and be able to obtain information utilizing resources (web, written, people) available to meet standards for productivity and solution driven results.
- Work towards understanding problems, and reaching resolutions with customer issues while maintaining the integrity and profitability of the company.
- Sell Solid Signal products effectively over the phone and in person.
- Prospect for new customers and build long-term client and partner relationships.
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers.
- Stay up to date with new products, services, and pricing plans.
- Apply knowledge of the sales cycle and strong negotiation and sales closing skills.
- Special projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and follow through skills.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Knowledge of the sales process.
- Ability to screen customer calls for sales opportunities and provide quotes to customers in order to generate revenue for the organization.
- Ability to utilize resources in order to proactively reach a solution.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently, self-starter and finisher.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high call volume and fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using a personal computer and Signal Group provided software.
- Knowledge of NetSuite and EOS is a plus.
Shift:
- Monday - Friday
- Shifts start as early as 8:00 a.m. and run as late as 6:00 p.m.
Compensation:
- $17.00-$18.00/hour
- PLUS commission paid monthly
