Job Summary:
The Signal Group Senior Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative works proactively to sell SolidSignal.com products, support customers, qualify sales opportunities, and interact with other departments to accomplish this work while offering the highest quality of customer service. This role also has responsibility for meeting department and company standards for productivity, product knowledge, resourcefulness, and being solution driven.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell and upsell SolidSignal.com products effectively over the phone and in person using knowledge of the sales process and strong negotiation and sales closure skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and customer engagement with a knowledgeable and proactive approach, ensuring a positive consumer experience with The Signal Group.
- Work towards understanding a problem and reaching a resolution with customer issues while maintaining the integrity and profitability of the company.
- Prospect for new customers and build long-term client and partner relationships.
- Qualify leads from various sources to grow sales.
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers.
- Create, send, and follow up on sales quotes to prospects and customers.
- Respond to incoming customer phone calls and chats.
- Screen customer calls for sales opportunities.
- Identify new sales opportunities with existing customers.
- Understand and have expertise in our products. Obtain product information utilizing resources (web, written, people) available to meet standards for productivity and solution driven results.
- Stay up to date with new products, services, and pricing plans.
- Conduct standard checks for fraud orders.
- Enter customer data and order information into CRM (NetSuite).
- Meet monthly sales quota.
- Special projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Strong organization and follow-through skills
- Ability to communicate professionally in both spoken and written mediums
- Basic math proficiency
- Ability to utilize resources in order to proactively reach a solution
- Ability to prioritize and work independently, self-starter and finisher
- Maintain a professional demeanor in a high call volume and fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the sales cycle and application of strong negotiation and sales closure skills.
- Proficient in using a personal computer and Signal Group provided software
- Knowledge of NetSuite and CRM preferred
- Knowledge of EOS is a plus
Education and Experience:
Associate Degree or higher is preferred
3 years of customer service experience required
3 years of sales experience required
Experience in lieu of education will be considered
