What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Financial Analyst position at The Silverman Group?
The Company :
Privately owned and operated private equity and real estate development organization based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The firm owns and manages over 28,000,000 square feet of office, industrial, retail, and aviation properties as well 5,000 multi-family units throughout the United States. It has over 15,000,000 square feet of commercial space and 2,000 multi-family units currently under development in 9 states.
Responsibilities :
- The position will have exposure to all aspects of the screening, sizing, underwriting, and securitization of commercial real estate loans and will see the securitization process from origination through completion
- Cash flow modeling and data analysis of potential transactions
- Review term sheets on approved transactions
- Perform due diligence and underwriting on returned loan applications
- Work with third-party service providers, including underwriters, appraisers, & engineers, as well as in-house legal counsel
- Manage deal pipeline, communicate critical dates & abstract closed transactions
- Maintain communication internal team members and Brokers
- Track & communicate existing loan critical dates
- Solicit bids from lenders & bankers
