Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair cutting, styling, and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services while ensuring client satisfaction through excellent communication and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and hair styling.
• Utilize techniques such as hair threading and hair extensions to meet client preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Offer exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and providing recommendations.
• Manage appointments and schedules using SQUARE or similar scheduling software.
• Mentor junior barbers or apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices in the craft.
• Assist in store management tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the barbershop.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and grooming techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barber with a valid barbering license 10 years preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in various barbering techniques including hair styling, nail care, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Previous experience in mentoring or training is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $66,311.00 - $70,136.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
