Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Development team. The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively and committed to maintaining a professional office environment. This position requires proficiency in data entry, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate the charism and mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph into the role.
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all staff, to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous work environment
- Good communications skills and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, conveying formation accurately, timely and effectively.
- To be organized, efficient and fulfill responsibilities assigned while maintaining confidentiality regarding office work.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and donor management software experience.
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, ability to take initiative, and to prioritize work.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience with DonorPerfect is preferred but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
