Make an impact: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Deliver quality service to our diverse members, guests, and program participants. Respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center and other areas of the facility. We are looking for someone who is available evenings and weekends.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates a member-focused culture, models relationship-building skills, and ensures a level of service and engagement that fosters loyalty among those we serve.
- Ability to assess customer's needs and provide answers, paths, troubleshooting help, or methods for a positive customer experience promptly.
- Recruits, hires, trains, schedules, and supervises employees. Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
- Develops and manages the budgets related to the position. Meets fiscal objectives. Closely monitors revenue and expense. Develops and implements annual membership enrolment reports for Y leadership.
- Ensures that membership staff are informed and able to communicate information to members and guests.
- Promotes program enrolment in interactions with existing and potential members. Implements marketing efforts to maximize program enrolments and provides support to program directors on related issues.
- Organizes and implements special events for membership.
- Provides for the cleanliness of the Welcome Center and assigned spaces, upkeep of equipment, and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies. Monitors, implements, and enforces department protocol to clean and disinfect commonly used surfaces, and ensures PPE compliance.
- Ability to lead a team that responds appropriately to behavioral issues or medical emergencies.
- Maintains member records and department files.
- Participate in mandatory staff meetings and in-services
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred. Can substitute prior customer service management experience for a degree.
- 3 years of progressive management experience in customer service-related fields.
- Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Office 365, ReClique Core, and Paycom
- Multi-task-oriented and strong communication skills
- Have excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Possess the ability to make independent and sound decisions in a changing environment
- Detail-oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy and alertness
- Present a neat and professional appearance at all times
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Fluency in a second language desired (with a $0.50 increase in starting wage!)
- Must possess or attain CPR/AED Certifications within 30 days of hire
