The Skinny Dip | A Summer Collective is a boutique located on Nantucket Island in MA. Founded in 2016, our curated marketplace connects clients with incredible emerging artisans and established brands we love, with the mission of getting clients excited about art fashion more!
We're looking for a highly motivated, energetic and sales operations focused individual with years of boutique managerial experience to run our extremely popular, Nantucket boutique year round!
Note! The Store will only be open April - December, and candidates can work remotely during January - March.
Housing on Nantucket is provided if needed!
Position Overview:
The Boutique Manager is responsible for ensuring sales associates consistently exemplify The Skinny Dip (TSD) brand motto “Expertly Deliver Personalized Style” (EDPS). The Boutique Manager will monitor overall performance to achieve and exceed boutique sales goals by coaching and training sales associates to build individual sales volume thru clienteling practices, by establishing and maintaining client relationships, encourage cross-selling/upselling across product categories throughout the boutique. The Boutique Manager will be responsible for all merchandising and keeping the boutique standards of cleanliness and presentation to the highest degree. The successful candidate will also be accountable for consistently achieving benchmarked goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- 7 Years of Retail - Experience Luxury Sector Preferred
- Understanding of Merchandise Flow and Transition
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
- Excellent merchandising skills
- Excellent Computer Skills; Microsoft Office | Google Suite
- Ability to work in a High-Performance | Multi-task Environment
- Attention to detail, initiative and enthusiastic
- Willing to work a flexible schedule based on business requirements, including Evenings, Weekends, Holidays
- Exude passion for the business
