The Skinny Pancake, a Vermont-based local food creperie, is opening its second location in Massachusetts! We are seeking an experienced, positive, proactive Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our team through the restaurant opening and beyond.

While you'll primarily provide oversight in the Front of House (FOH), we believe hospitality is a team sport, so you’ll work in all areas to ensure smooth operations.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Qualifications :

• Three or more years in varied restaurant positions, including cooking and supervisory experience
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
• Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the operation with a particular focus on service management
• Availability to work full time, 8-10 hour shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so
• Must be able to coach and develop others effectively
• ServSafe Food Manager, Food Allergens and ChokeSaver Certification or equivalent, preferred
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred

Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Promoting the operation's success while demonstrating honesty and integrity
• Overseeing all aspects of service operations , including scheduling, inventory, purchasing, quality, and safety
• Developing team members to promote sales and improve profitability while ensuring high team member and guest satisfaction
• Attracting and developing a quality staff of A list players
• Impacting restaurant finances by promoting sales and controlling expenses with a primary focus on the front of the house
• Working in the kitchen, leading, training, teaching, and coaching culinary duties
• Working in the dining room, leading, training, teaching, and coaching while actively promoting hospitality excellence
• Assuming leadership responsibilities as a manager on duty
• Working collaboratively with all team members

Assistant Restaurant Manager Benefits and Perks Include :

• Competitive base salary of $65,000
• Paid Time Off (PTO) annual accrual of 80 hours. Accrued time is available after 6 months of employment
