Description
Will-Mor Manufacturing, a precision CNC Manufacturing company in the Seacoast area, is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector . We specialize in complex work in the Defense and Aerospace industries.
The Quality Inspector’s primary responsibilities include the first piece, in-process, and final inspection of complex components. Performs inspection and quality control procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material, and finished products to ensure that quality control standards and manufacturing specifications are maintained and achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and components utilizing visual and mechanical tools.
- Provide in-process inspection of each production operation and perform documentation audit for completeness, and make sure that work instructions are being followed.
- Complete finished product inspection before release to shipping.
- Use a variety of conventional and advanced inspection devices to verify dimensions to drawing specifications.
- Perform calibration of measuring & test equipment. Ensure measurement & test equipment is within calibration & operating properly; calling for calibration & repair as needed.
- Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives.
- May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals’ skills.
