Senior Staff Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements and accounting activities in accordance with established accounting principles. This role involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes, as well as supporting internal audit activities. The Senior Staff Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Record Management : Compile and analyze accounting activities to manage records of account entries.
- Financial Reporting : Maintain and prepare financial statements and documents related to the division's financial position. Provide reports and facilitate audits as needed.
- Statement Review : Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of financial statements with accounting standards.
- Payroll Processing : Enter payroll change requests to reflect staffing changes.
