Senior Social Media Manager

The Smart Agency in Irvine, Calif. is an award-winning public relations, content, and marketing agency with 35 years of experience serving some of the world’s most respected commercial real estate and finance firms.

We’re currently seeking a smart, talented Senior Social Media Manager with 3-5 years of professional social media management experience to join our team.

The right candidate is a strategic social/digital relationship-builder and communicator who loves matching strategy to business objectives and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where he/she/they are challenged, empowered, and supported.

The position is primarily remote, with a commitment to attend team meetings in-person at our Irvine office each Thursday, as well as Client meetings in-person as needed. Hours are full-time, however each Friday we close at noon.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Social Media Manager is a strategic liaison between the Agency and our Clients, ensuring that Client needs are anticipated, met, and regularly exceeded.

· Client relationship management: Ensure high-level client service across all social media elements on client accounts, fostering client satisfaction and success.

· Social Processes: Oversee and optimize social media processes to drive efficiency and consistency. Identify platforms and systems to enhance and streamline work.

· Content Management: Create annual content plans, creative copywriting to draft social captions, and guide creative direction of post artwork including videos, infographics, etc.

· Strategic counsel and knowledge: Stay on top of the latest trends and consistently deliver strategic social media counsel to Clients, helping them define and reach their goals. Maintain a high-level understanding of commercial real estate (CRE) and its broader economic impacts across various product types and strategies.

· Team and Project Management: Oversee one direct report in the planning, execution, and delivery of compelling and effective corporate written, visual, and multimedia social media content completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

· Reporting and analytics: Oversee social media results analysis and optimization processes, monitoring their progress and using data-driven insights to inform future strategies and tactics.

· Team coordination: Work closely with other team members, such as PR account managers, to ensure seamless integration of services and a cohesive approach to Client work.

Requirements:

>A skilled and confident Social Media strategist with 3-5 years of professional experience.

>Proven ability to manage LinkedIn.

>Strong knowledge in corporate social strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok.

>Curious and effective in managing projects.

>Great eye for detail - a precise, organized manager.

$75,000 base salary 100% paid employee health insurance matching 401k company bonus program
