The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesia is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor, non-tenure position. The candidate will be responsible for the training of residents and medical students.
They will be responsible for the supervision of residents, certified nurse anesthetists, and student nurse anesthetists. They will also serve as an advisor to residents when presenting their case conferences or grand round lectures.
The successful candidate will provide anesthesia services and participate in resident teaching, which may include but is not limited to mock oral examinations, journal clubs, board review lectures, and the resident didactic series, as well as socratic clinical teaching.

Basic Qualifications
- Must have completed an approved residency in anesthesia
- Must be board eligible or certified by the American Board Of Anesthesiology
- Tennessee medical license
- Appointment requires a demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and service, including patient care.
