The Division of Student Life invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Off-Campus Student Life that will be responsible for the creation and execution of educational programming for UT Knoxville students centered around living off-campus.
Off-Campus Student Life supports and empowers University of Tennessee, Knoxville students as they transition to living off campus. We provide resources and guidance to help students navigate the process of finding and securing off-campus housing through educational initiatives. These initiatives equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions and manage their housing search effectively. At the same time, we work to build strong partnerships with off-campus housing providers, ensuring that students have access to reliable, safe housing options. By fostering these relationships, we create a network of trusted landlords and property managers dedicated to meeting the needs of students. Through these efforts, we also encourage students to engage with both the UT Knoxville campus and the broader Knoxville community, helping to enhance their sense of belonging and connection, and making them feel valued as active members of both their academic environment and the city of Knoxville.
The Position: The Coordinator for Off-Campus Student Life is responsible for developing and implementing programs to enhance the off-campus student experience and prepare students living on campus to transition to off-campus living. This position creates and manages content for the off-campus housing website and social media platforms for the office. The coordinator also supervises a team of student staff, providing guidance and support to achieve program objectives.
