The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Director of Development, Regional Giving for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee region. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development for the Nashville region, the Director of Development is a front-line fundraiser responsible for securing significant philanthropic gifts to the university that impact UT Knoxville's students, faculty, colleges and campus to achieve its fullest potential.
The purpose of this position is to secure significant philanthropic funding by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, negotiating, and stewarding donors and prospects. This individual will work collaboratively with other advancement professionals to support UT Knoxville’s fundraising efforts in and around the Nashville/Middle Tennessee region, seeking to build and deepen relationships with alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations
