GI Part- Time Assistant Professor- Knoxville

The incumbent will participate in resident conferences, residency applicant interviews, and annual DOM CME conference. Has a commitment and dedication to the education of resident physicians in all clinical areas in addition to supervision.

Supervisory Role

• Associate Program Director for Transitional Year
  
  

Responsibilities for Resident and Medical Student Education

• Teaching responsibility for residents during their GI rotations
• Teaching and evaluation in rotations
• Teaching medical students via didactic lectures and during inpatient GI consults
  
  

Research

• Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations
  
  

Administrative

• Attend departmental committee meetings
• Serve on TY program clinical competence committee
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• MD, ABIM Certified,
• TN Medical License
