We are a busy, patient-centered dental practice in North Jersey, seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Dental Billing Specialist to join our team. If you have a passion for helping patients understand their treatment plans and are experienced in handling dental insurance and billing matters, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Research and navigate insurance policies, benefits, and exclusions to provide accurate information to patients.
- Review and interpret dental EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), including patient deductibles, co-pays, and insurance / third-party correspondence.
- Communicate pre-authorization requirements to patients in-office or via phone.
- Assist patients in understanding their treatment plan details, billing, and payment options.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and claim denials through follow-up with insurance companies.
- Ensure accuracy in calculating copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket fees.
- Familiarity with Care Credit and other financial programs.
- Maintain clear communication with patients about treatment plans, billing, and insurance details.
