Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming environment will be key to enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently.
• Process transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves and ensuring displays are appealing.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
• Experience in retail sales or similar environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Skills in supervising staff or leading a team are advantageous.
• Familiarity with product demonstrations to engage customers is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
