Overview
We are seeking a energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals correctly and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers. This position requires a moderate amount of physical activity, your job will be transporting food from the downstairs kitchen to the upstairs bar.
Duties
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist kitchen staff by ensuring that all orders are correct before they leave the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables as needed.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns related to food delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
