Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any observed health issues.
- Handle animals safely and humanely, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly with larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Stay informed about current trends in pet grooming and animal care to provide the best service possible.

Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Skills in dog training, animal restraint, customer service, and general animal care are highly valued.
- Proficiency in dog handling and animal handling techniques is essential for ensuring safety during grooming sessions.

Pay: $20.25 - $22.40 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
