We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and exceptional customer service skills will help enhance the overall experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and equipment.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, food items, and supplies.
- Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure the quality and freshness of all products served.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for coffee culture is a plus.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Food handling certification is beneficial but can be obtained after hiring if necessary.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
