Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct engaging PBL sessionsFacilitate a product development course that integrates multiple disciplines, focusing on problem-solving techniques.Employ a facilitator approach to teaching, encouraging a collaborative discovery of solutions with students.Utilize and teach software tools such as TinkerCad, Canva, Bitsbox, and Soundtrap, or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new software.Apply the Universal by Design (UbD) methodology to create and deliver project-based learning experiences.Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a productive and safe learning environment.Guide students through the product development process, including design thinking and iterative prototyping.Share personal entrepreneurial experiences, including successes and failures, to provide real-world insights.Foster an environment that encourages experimentation, learning from failure, and iterative improvement.Qualifications
- Required :
- Experience as an entrepreneur or startup founder (launching a new company or organization)Experience with product development and / or design thinking processesClassroom management experience with middle or high school studentsTeaching experience using project-based learning methodology (training available)An interest in learning about new technology, industry processes, and manufacturing methods
- Preferred :
