Job Overview:
We are seeking friendly and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Servers. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system (e.g., Toast) and ensure accuracy
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Toast POS, for order entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
