Role Description
This is an entry-level, full-time remote role for a Social Media Strategist at TST. They will be responsible for a roster of clients they will manage alongside the Lead Social Strategist and with the assistance of the rest of The Social Team (strategists, community managers, and designers). This includes the creation of strategic documentation that outlines unique client goals (including goals both communicated by the client and ideated driven by TST to improve account health), the proposal of content and campaign concepts, and the delineation of platform-specific strategies. They are in charge of ensuring that client requests are moving along smoothly and that our content calendar is approved and in motion as far in advance as possible. The Social Media Strategist plays a crucial role in representing TST and being a go-between the ever-changing client management world and our team, the ever-changing social media landscape and our insights-appreciating clients, and the health of the account and the CEO.
Qualifications
- Experience managing branded social media accounts with a strategic lens (aka campaigns, content calendars, or other structured social media management approaches)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to represent the brand and The Social Team thoughtfully and strategically
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices
- Ability to develop and implement social media strategies, especially in a way that stays true to how everyday users of these apps are naturally posting on each platform
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics
- Strong (English-language) writing abilities for briefs, strategic documents, and regular communication purposes
- Attention to detail and strong self-administration skills to stay on top of new ongoing client and internal requests, as well as the ability to prioritize and work in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
- Familiarity with project task management platforms is a plus, as many of our day-to-day operations run on Monday.com
- Familiarity with theatre, music, and entertainment industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
